Berlin and wrapping it up August 5, 2020

 Hola.

Yeah, I'm back. I'm still trying to decide how much I wanna recap from the last 7? weeks...

Well, life has been crazy awesome in Berlin. My current companions are Elder Johnson (yes there are 2 of us... And yes we have made the Johnson and Johnson joke a billion times) and Elder Hale.

We have just been swamped with work and that is part of the reason why I haven't written - - the other half is I"m just lazy lol.

Anyway, we have had an awesome time the past week weeks. Here are some bullet point highlights

 - - Moving out of our appartment for the renovation, moved into an uns used senior couple appartment
- - Tryed to stay out of that appartment as much as possible to keep it nice - - > We went on many exchanges to different cities.
 - - Went to Bremen with Elder Palmer and Elder Allen (they are both from my group) and had a blast. Bremen is legit one of the prettiest cities I have ever been in. We over night Ed with them twice, once for Zone conference and once for exchange.
 - - Went to Dresden. Even prettier than Bremen, got to go on exchange with my MTC companion Yașlı Mackay. We got a Pic in from of the "Frauenkirche" (super famous church that got turbo blasted in the Dresden firebombs, but then rebuilt with some of the original (now completely black) stones
- - Went to Tiergarten in Berlin (my old area) and had a blast there too. Also got to see some old friends that I taught and worked with so that was really nice.
 - - Before the renovation had an exchange here and a Nigerian Elder brought some fufu (it was heckin good - - look it up)
 - - Went to a bunch of zone conferences; in Leipzig and Dresden and Hamburg. All super fun and learned a lot
- - Lots of stress, lots of fun. Some late nights and not lots of sleep lol
 - - Still teaching about 10 people including people from Columbia, Chile, Brazil, Haiti, DRC, Philippines and Nigeria.
 - - They are all making awesome progress, the problem being that baptisms and church meetings are not allowed in many of those places. But it's OK. The work of the Lord will go on

I am unbelievably grateful for the chance I have had to serve during this time. It has been definitely one of the hardest and most stressful times of my life, but also the most rewarding. I have grown so much closer to my Savior than ever before and I wouldn't trade that for anything. I have been able to do so much good. Some of it measurable, and some if it not. But I know that I have made a difference in so many lives through my service here. I have 2 more weeks and I am just really sad to leave. I have grown to love Germany and the people so much. It's going to be hard, but I know that my work doesn't stop here. President Leimer has been focusing the mission on becoming lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ and I know that my work and my ministry in the kingdom of God on earth will continue and I will serve wherever and in whatever capacity the Lord wants me to serve.
