Corona Chapter 7--Day 41 of Quarantine--Week 87 on Mission--Chapter 79 in Germany

Hello everyone!

We had a stellar week and we are finally seeing the fruit of our Facebook work. We started our English Cafés right and so we had 1 each day. The funny thing is only 2-3 people were at each of the cafes, but we have been texting many people as a result have many people have expressed interest to learn more about our church. We have strtaed teaching about 6 new people and we have someone from every continent (except Australia) and so it's kinda cool to fulfill the promise more literally to "teach and baptize all nations".

One new thing we have been doing is teaching people using voice recordings and text. Many of the people we teach are in Africa or Asia and the connect is not good enough to have a stable video or phone call. So we just teach through typing. Luckily I have a Bluetooth keyboard which speeds things up a lot. We had an interesting experience this week where we were teaching 3 people simultaneously through text and voice recordings. A really new experience for sure. The other amazing part of texting is that you can essential have a continuous lesson - - which has pros and cons. We are able to teach a lot more in a shorter period of days, but it is also difficult to maintain the spirit and a good learning environment. It has still been really cool and we are excited to see how it goes this week again. Due to all the new stuff we were able to teach 26 lessons this week which tops the other weeks of quarantine so far. 15 of those lessons being with friends.

I wanted to share something Form my study this week.
2 Peter 1:
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
(See Also D&C 4)

I was just studying the unique order of these divine attributes and I thought it was insightful. The first is faith - - the groundwork of belief and religion. The last is charity. The "fruits" or the result of the other attributes. I think right now the world is in desperate need of something. Many people would object that what it needs is faith, but I don't think anyone would object to the idea that we need more patience, kindness or charity. I would say that all these are very intertwined and follow a natural sequence. You can't develop one without the previous one. I pray that we may all follow this divine order and develop faith that will bring the divine nature that we all need right now.

Love you all!
