Chapter 6-Corona-Still Going Strong

Hello everyone!

Not gonna lie, I'm getting pretty bored but the work is great.

We have continued to have a lot of appointments and have reached many people. Since we were getting a little bored we started trying lots of new things this week. We have started doing online German and English learning/practice groups. We just went into a English learning Facebook group and said "Hi we are Americans and want to do small group calls on Zoom to help people practice". Our phones got Flippin exploded. We got 300+ comments and 100+ people messaging us to join. After we filtered out a lot of people we narrowed it down to 6 groups of ~10 people and we did our first group today! It actually didn't go super well because not as many people joined as said they were, but it was still fun with the people that did come and of course the subject of the church came up and we got to talk about what we do. It is cool because we are doing a service to people and we aren't pushy about the church, but if they have questions we answer them!

We have had good appointments with our friends and they are all doing really well. Some of our friends participated in online church meetings on Sunday which is was cool too. We also have an online companion right now. Elder Klappert is a native German who was serving in Zimbabwe, but was sent back home and is in Quarantine for 14 days and so he joins our calls and teaches with us which has been fun because he is a native German so he helps us with our German too.

Love yall! The work goes on!
