Not a ton of new stuff this week. Just a classic week in the life of a missionary. Things are going good with our friends. We had our primary program this last week and there are about 13 or so kids in the primary (which is quite a bit for such a pretty small ward) and they did a really good job. Also the members are awesome and invited lots of their friends to church for the program and so we had lots of visitors. We got a chance to talk to a lot of them and they were very nice and open. One family said that they are going to be coming to church more often! We were talking to the Mom and she said that the last song really touched her adn gave her goosebumps when the kids were singing. It was 100% the holy ghost and it's cool that she recognized it even if she didn't know exactly what it was. BUt ya that is gonna be super cool. We had invited so many people to the program andddd like no one came lol. But we can't control that so it's ok. Hopefully next time :)
But ya, one other cool experience from this week was yesterday. So we were going by on members and there is this one member that hasn't come in a while but was very nice and said we could come back later. We have tried a few other times, but haven't been able to reach him. We tried again yesterday. We rang the door bell twice and no answer. Elder Mitchell then said that we should say a pray and ask that we could come into contact with this member so we said a prayer and then rang a 3rd time.... and no answer.... So we just started ringing throughout the complex building and after 4 or 5 we were like ok let's just go. But then Elder Mitchell just walked up and klingled him one more time. And then he answered!! He was sleeping (so we kinda felt bad.. buuut not really) and then we got his phone number this time so we can come by at a time that is mroe convienient for him. But ya that was cool.
Last P-day we also had areally awesome lesson with our new Persian friend. It went really long though and we got home at like 10:15.... which is really late and against the rules oops. But it was really awesome and Elder Mitchell said the whole first vision in Persian which was sick. But ya we hope that he keeps making progress.
Other than that not a whole lot of new developments. But its going great :)
We also had a leave raking service project which was super fun.
