Hello everyone!
Sorry I didn't write last week..
This week was pretty sick. (good).
We did a lot of stuff.
Just an update on our friends.
So our friend Rosti that we have been teaching for a while has been coming to chuch and has decided he wants to be baptized! He is really awesome, we believes that it is the right thing to do but he doesn't completely understand the way the church works I guess. It's kinda complicated, but the short version is that he is doing really awesome and last week when he came to church he participated in Sunday school and made really good comments and the ward really likes him.
Our friend Sandra Zapke (she is the wife of a less aktiv member) is doing amazing and wants to be baptized! both the husband and the wife have been coming to church for a few weeks and are both really awesome! There was some complicated stuff with the ward and the husband that we needed to figure out, but we just got everything sorted out and so this week will be able to set a baptismal date with her!
Our friend Daniel also came to church this week and he really loved it and got along with the members really well. Daniel's problem is that he will be leaving in 2 weeks because he is in the military, but we will figure out stuff in whatever area he's going to. He wants to be baptized before the end of the year -- and he is coming abck to Berlin for Christmas and considered doing it on Dec 31. We think it would be pretty cool.
Little updates on our other friends. Frouke said that she needs a break for while to think about things.
Everyone else hasn't really made much progress / we haven't been able to meet with them.
But we are also working with a lot of members and brought one to church yesterday and he really enjoyed it and we think he really missed it. He plans on coming next week as well.
We had a cool experience finding this week. So Elder Mitchell was called Persian speaking and so we have been trying t find Persians (with not much success) and one day we had a few hours of finding and weren't having much success. We had to go to an appointment and we were actually pretty late. Then our U-bahn stopped working for like 10 minutes and we were stuck there. Elder Mitchell said in the Ubahn that it was because God was lining up a Persian guy for us to talk to. As we came out of the Ubahn station we were already 10 minutes late to our appointment, but I had a very distinct impression to stop this one guy walking by us. Turns out he was Persian! We talked for another 10 minutes or so and luckily our appointment couldn't actually meet that day. It was a cool experience and it shows that God's hand is really in everything.
Ya that's about it I guess.we are doing really good :)
