Chapter 52-Fruit Salad

Hello Friends and Family.

So this week was superb as always, and lots of cool stuff happened.

But I guess first a lil update on our friends n stuff.

So we have still been meeting Frouke on occasion and helping her get involved in the ward more.
Our friend Daniel is doing really good, we just need to get him to church...
Rosti is still kinda funny, but we are making progress and he came to general conference which was good.
In new news, we have been teaching this older man who has a crazy life story but he has always loved the church his whole life and has been taught in the US and it has been going really well. He tells lots of stories -- so pray for our patience and efficiency in teaching.
Yesterday we had a bomb lesson with our new friend Juan Carlos. He has been looking for truth for a long time and he really wants to settle down. We taught about the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ through Joseph Smith and about the Book of Mormon. Towards the end of the lesson he kept asking questions. Like what makes us different from other churches, and if we have rules etc. He kept asking and so we taught very short versions of the Word of Wisdom, Law of Chastity, and Tithing. He was like ya that makes sense. It was pretty cool and we are excited to keep meeting with him.

We had another cool miracle this week. So we were calling through our list of members to get to know people better and try and invite people to come back to church and we called this one number that was most definitely a German name, but the person who answered was not a native German. We still talked with him for a moment and told him who we are and what we do and asked if he wanted to meet! He said yes. So we met with him the next day and it turns out that he moved here from Iran a few years ago and has been attending different churches and has felt like he hasn't found the right one. He said he was very interested when we called. We taught about Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon etc and he really felt the spirit. We sent his information over to the Marzahn Elders because he lives in a different area -- but it was still just such a cool miracle.

There was also the baptism of two 8 year olds in the ward this week and so we took Loveline with us and she reaally enjoyed it. She kept telling us how excited she is to be baptized one day. Her Husband is a member and she really wants to be baptized but she wants the support of her family back home before she does. So please pray for her and her family.

But yes, we have been busy and working hard. Here are some pics with some of our members and friends n stuff

A member gave us the Tub of fruit salad because he works at a fruit salad factory... its gonna take weeks to eat it all
