Chapter 46-WooAhhahOooHhh We're 1/2 there

WooooohOooOOoo living on a prayer!!!!
(Yes I be half done wit my mission🙂)

Well, sorry I haven't sent an update out. I think once you miss one it makes it sooo much easier to miss the next week. But after much deliberation and procrastination I decided to do one. So ya.

Berlin has been a whirlwind ever since I got here and everyday is something new.

One of the cool recent developments has been our friend Issa. He reminds me a lot my friend Adam in Werdau, and every time we meet with him he brings some friends to join us for the lesson/conversation. It is super cool and his friends are always super open to learn something new. This last time we met with them we met in a park on some benches and as we were talking there were these 2 guys from the U.K that were listening in on our conversation (because we were speaking English) -- so they kinda joined and it was really cool. After we wrapped up and said bye to Issa and his friend we stayed and chatted with the 2 guys from the U.K and they were both not religious at all, but were curious about religion and so we gave them a really basic run down of the church and just kinda chatted and it was just really natural and comfortable. It wasn't very formatted or even a "lesson" it was just a normal conversation and that's really what our work should be like. We should be friends with the people we talk to and just try and help them find joy in Jesus Christ as we have done. In the end they weren't super interested to learn more, but they now have a much more positive view of our church -- and also just belief in general which was cool.

We have also continued meeting with a few people that seem to be showing progress. Our friend Frouke is reading through the Book of Mormon and always comes to us with questions and concerns and is just so eager to learn. She also has really loved coming to church and she is doing really awesome. She has been praying to know what she should do and so if y'all can pray for her to get an answer that would be awesome.

We have a few other friends that are also making decent progress and you'll probably hear more about them in the future. I have had lots of opportunities to practice my Turkish -- I should probably study it more though -- but it is cool to see people's faces light up when I ask them where they are from and then start speaking Turkish to them.  I just cant understand like 90% of the things they say back to me....

Idk what else --- sooo here are some pics :)
