So this week has been interesting. It has involved a lot of dooring. Last Sunday we did 4 hours, Monday 3 hours, Tuesday 3 or so hours and then this Sunday another 4 hours. At first it was really quite frustrating because we literally had like 1 conversation -- let alone finding people that were interested. But I think the entire purpose of this week was for us to figure ways to be creative on door approaches and really try to be genuine, instead of robots that repeat the same approach over and over. Well it I think it worked. Cause on Sunday we saw some really cool miracles and contacted into some people that have been looking for a church to go to and were really excited. One woman said that she would be there next week and that she would bring her friend too! She actually even knows our Persian member Farhad and so we are really excited to work with them. Also in the same apartment complex there was another man that had just recently moved to Werdau and has recently converted to Christianity. We showed him The Book of Mormon and we even had one in Persian with us. He was really interested and wanted to meet. It was super cool. Also on Sunday I think our attitudes changed. The whole week I was regretting the fact that we had to go dooring and was really just kinda going through the motions. But on Sunday we tried to be real people that took a real interest in the lives of those we talked to and it really showed. People were nicer, our conversations were longer and we left every door feeling leaving them and us happier, regardless if they had interest or not.
Otherwise, not a whole lot has changed and we also didn't take a ton of pictures. But here are a few.
My progressive mood as we are dooring.... jk it was because Elder Orton was taking so many pics and so I refused to smile.
