Merhabalar!
Sorry I didn't send a weekly out last week. I was just kinda lazy haha. But this weeks address "merhabalar" is in honor of we studying more Turkish the past few weeks because I have had the chance to do some Turkish lesson translation for the Zwickau sisters, I have done it twice now, and will be doing it again this week. The mans name is Yavuz and he is really awesome. I still have a hard time understanding Turkish, but I can get my point across when I speak. So I have been using all my extra time to study turkish and it is going really well and I am seeing the Lord bless me for doing so. The area that I am in has basically 0 Turks, but on Saturday when we were street contacting I met a man from Iraq that could speak Turkish and I talked with him for a minute and we exchanged numbers. I think the Lord was blessing my efforts to study turkish more for sure.
Life in Werdau is going pretty good otherwise. We have still been working with Bhavin and his son Viraj, they were in Leipzig this weekend so they didn't make it to church, but they are both still very interested and will come in the future and we have had good lessons with them.
Oliver has been sick for a while and so we haven't been able to see him for a bit, but he is doing really well with the Word of Wisdom. Other than being sick our only problem is getting him to church, he wants to come, but it is really hard to organize rides for him since he goes to the Jena branch and there are not a lot of people in Gera that can take him.
We have a new awesome friend named Anthony that lives in a dorf in our area called SchmOlln (its funny to say haha we also got stuck there till about 22:00 because we missed our train after a long lesson with him). But we met with him and taught about the plan of salvation and prayer and it was really one of the best lessons on my mission. He really felt the spirit and wants to believe. He is really busy/ out of town the next 2 weeks, but he is really promising.
We also had a austausch in Leipzig this last week, which was really fun and we had a street display while we were there -- Leipzig is super cool city and we had lots of cool conversations and then Elder Clemmons and I had a cool lesson with a less active member at a little stream near this park and we fed these things called Nutrias -- it was cool.
Life's going pretty good! Love you all!
