Chapter 6-Party Time

Hello from the Land of Deutsch.

Lots of cool stuff went down this week. We had some great new people this week. We met with this awesome Persian family -- their German isn't the greatest, but we met with them and it went really well and they are already Christian and are really interested. We invited them to come to our Christmas party on Saturday. They came and they had an awesome time! We had a nice little program with a little play put on by the YSAs and with some musical numbers and stuff. At the end of the program they had a Weihnachtsman (Santa) come and the family has a 2 year old daughter who is super cute and the Santa gave her some cookies and a present and the family was super happy and it made me super happy.

ALSO, you all know Sochima. He got baptized about 2 weeks ago, and we still meet with him to re-teach the lessons and make suer he understands. But we invited him to ask his friends if they were interested in coming to church. SOOO Sochima being the bro he is, actually invited a friend to our Christmas party and we are going to start meeting with this friend Frank this week! He is super awesome -- he's also Nigerian and he is very interested and was asking about Sochimas baptism and wants to learn more! We are super excited.

The party was super awesome, and right before the party we had a ton of our missionaries from our zone come and help us with a street display. We set up pretty close to the Christmas market and there were tons of people out, and it was really nice weather and we made lots of contacts, and then we all got together and caroled for a little while it was tons of fun!

I wanted to tell a little miracle we had just today actually. We have been meeting with this man that is very interested, but about 1.5 weeks ago he just dropped of the face of the earth. We have been praying to get back into contact to him, because we knew that something must have happened b/c we didn't think he would drop us. We have been praying all week to get back into contact with him. Then this morning, right as we were walking out of the building to go grocery shopping, he was there! He thought that we just stopped talking to him, but he had forgotten that he had changed his what's app number and so he was so sad we weren't contacting him. After getting his new number, he texted us an hour later and said "It was God's will that we found each other today". It is amazing that he even recognized that it was God's hand in our life, and we are thrilled that we get to continue to teach him now. I love seeing God's hand in my life and I it really helps me to recognize that I could never do this work by myself and that God is helping me at every turn. I love this work, I love Jesus Christ, and I love that we get to celebrate him this time of year! #LightTheWorld

I didn't really take very many pictures this week. But here are a few. I´d love to hear from you all!
